FAQ
You can travel to The Gambia throughout the year. From October to May, you’ll enjoy sunny days, lower humidity and cooler temperatures. June to September is the green season, with lush landscapes, mango season and occasional rainfall. During Ramadan, some activities are adjusted to respect local traditions, but our volunteer programmes continue to operate.

Our programmes are open to individuals, students, professionals, families and organised groups who are motivated to contribute positively to local communities. We review every application individually to ensure the best possible match between your skills, interests and our projects. Read more about conditions HERE.
